The CIB PSA World Championships continued with eight more Round Three matches from the bottom half of the draws.
A reshuffle saw the women’s matches all take place at the Egyptian Museum and the men’s at Palm Hills. Rowan Elaraby produced the upset of the day as she came from two down to beat Gina Kennedy for the first time, joining compatriots Nour El Tayeb, Nouran Gohar and Hania El Hammamy in the quarters,
The men’s matches all went to seeding as Mohamed beat Marwan in the ElShorbagy sibling clash, and there were also wins for Mostafa Asal, Mazen Hesham and Paul Coll.
