World class squash descends on Chicago, United States this week when the PSA World Championships 2020-2021 takes place from Wednesday 14 to Thursday 22 July with action LIVE on SquashTV, as well as broadcasters around the world and the official Facebook page of the PSA World Tour (excluding Europe and Japan).
The biggest tournament in squash returns to Chicago this week, with the spectacular Cathedral Hall at the University Club playing host. The venue its a well-known one on the PSA World Tour, having hosted the Windy City Open several times over the last decade.
Both sides of the tournament will feature battles for World No.1 spots, with Ali Farag, who has just welcomed his first child into the world with wife Nour El Tayeb, and Mohamed ElShorbagy both aiming to claim their second World Championship crowns.
Karim Abdel Gawad and Tarek Momen, the reigning World Champ, will also be aiming to do the same. The likes of Marwan ElShorbagy, Fares Dessouky and New Zealand’s Paul Coll will be the other main players for the title.
Reigning four-time World Champion Nour El Sherbini will be the favourite for the title, but she could lose the World No.1 spot to Nouran Gohar, who will be going for a first World crown.
The likes of Camille Serme, Hania El Hammamy, Amanda Sobhy, Sarah-Jane Perry and Joelle King will be the other main contenders for the title, come the end of next week.
