Nour : We play each other on PSA way too much! We know each other’s game inside out…. PSA seem to luuuuve watching us play!!
It can get dramatic between us but today, it didn’t. And it was a bit different: I stuck to my game plan as much as I could, about 90% of the time I would say.
I didn’t lose focus, I didn’t talk too much to the ref, I didn’t go out of my comfort zone too much… And I was in the present moment a lot. I executed my game plan well. Which was, basically, she plays very fast and picks up way too many balls back, so I was aiming at slowing the pace down, not going too quickly to the front, put her under pressure first, and then follow up with whatever was after that, expecting her to be picking up all my shots.
I am now playing Amina Orfi, I’m so happy, hahaha. I think it will be on here, the traditional court. Boy am I happy to have a day off, my body is shaking at the moment, too much pressure, too much adrenalin….
