[Q] Caroline Fouts (USA) 3-2 [23] Georgia Adderley (SCO) 9-11, 11-5, 11-1, 8-11, 11-6 (49m)
Caroline : Georgina is a similar player to myself in terms of just running. I think she is a bit more steadier in that term as she just runs runs runs.
So I really had to trust my shots today, because if it just got down to hit and run, I knew she would back herself in that. I had to trust my hands, tap into a part of my game I normally don’t trust that much but just to had to let it happen.
I’m so happy I was able to play a more mature style today and get the win.
I’m based in Greenwhich, Connecticut, and I work with Luke Butterworth. But at the moment, I’m still in College – she has a exam a bit later today actually – for Harvard, I’m working with Mike Way. There is a lot of good support from Harvard here, so that’s helps a lot.
Caroline Fouts is no stranger to a 5-game match 💪
