The CIB PSA World Championships continued on Day Seven with six quarter-final matches at the Museum of Egyptian Civilisation and the Palm Hills Club.
All the men’s semi-finalists were decided as the top four seeds Ali Farag, Diego Elias, Mostafa Asal and Paul Coll all won through, while defending women’s champion Nour El Sherbini set up a semi-final with USA’s eight seed Olivia Weaver.
The remaining two women’s semis took place on Day Eight at the Museum, with world #2 and 3 Hania El Hammamy and Nouran Gohar both winning all-Egyptian matches in four games.
