Hard match for Hannah today. The Irish qualifier just lost her father and was brave enough to come and play the event. Mustn’t have been easy. All our thoughts my friend.
Sana : At the end of the match, I went and told her ‘you are so brave that you came here after your dad passed away. You show how mentally strong you are”.
Of course, I know she can play better than what she did today. She actually changed her game in the third and got a nice lead 7/3, I think I became to be too passive.
I have had a few niggles, so I haven’t been able to play/train as much as I would like. So I have to be clever, play squash and win rallis without moving too much! I need to be strong mentally, it won’t be easy, but I want to do my best here.
