Day ZERO : Welcome to Chicago

It’s been a long wait – since November 2017 to be precise – but the World Championships are upon us, starting in Chicago at noon tomorrow.

With two 64-player draws and the whole of the first round played today, that’s 64 matches -8 sessions on 4 courts at Metro Squash, 3 and University Club, and the Glass Court at Union Station.

That’s going to be a busy day, but with a whole day before the tournament starts and a whole city to explore ……

Well to be fair we didn’t get far, but a round trip taking in Millennium Park (the famous huge mirror), the court build at Union Station (day and evening), and the Skydeck at Harris Tower (formerly Sears, America’s tallest building), we do at least have a few photos to put you in the World Championship mood …
