“Honestly, I’m over the moon to be through to round two.
“It was a very tough match. Rachel is obviously a very talented player. She’s very skilful, and she’s very tough. So it was a tough match, but I’m over the moon to be through.
“I think the first game I played really well.
“Also the second game, I think I played great until maybe 10-7 or something. I had the lead, but then, I mean, yeah, she definitely had the experience. She kept fighting for every single point and she got the second game. Third game, honestly, I wasn’t there. But honestly, I’m just so proud of myself for fighting for every single point until the end.
“It’s very, very special to have my family and my friends here with me today. They kept cheering for me every single point and their support was felt.”
