The CIB Palm Hills PSA World Championships 25/26 continue today in Giza, Egypt with another busy day – 32 Round Two matches, 28 at the Palm Hills Club then four on the Glass Court this evening.to decide the last sixteens.
At Palm Hills Club, starting at 12.00, there are a number of choice matches to enjoy, including Egypt’s junior World Champion Mohamad Zakaria against Pakistan’s U23 World Champion Noor Zaman, a Malaysian derby between Sivasangari Subramaniam and Aira Azman, an all-South American battle between Diego Elias and qualifier Jeremias Azana, an all-unseeded meeting between Nathan Lake and Muhd Ashab Irfan, Belgian sisters Nele and Tinne Gilis on adjacent courts at the same time, and two close seeding matchups between [16] Rowan Elaraby v [17] Sana Ibrahim and [15] Fares Dessouky v [17] Dimitri Steinmann.
In women’s matches on the glass court top seed Hania El Hammamy resumes her bid for a maiden World Championship title as she takes on US qualifier Caroline Fouts, while eight-time champion Nour ElSherbini faces another upset maker in Nadian Elhammamy.
Men’s top seed Mostafa Asal continues his title defence up against India’s Veer Chotrani, and New Zealand’s second seed Paul Coll finishes the day against France’s Baptiste Masotti.
